I'm really very sympathetic to you situation and not trying to be a smartass, but this goes
back to my first post on this subject. This guy was your third time around. You should be
aware by now that a big part of marrige is learning to take the bad with the good, and living
with the little annoying things, like when your mate doesn't do things just exactly the way
you like them (maybe he leaves the seat up).
If your upbringing and your mother's behavior was still that strong of a influence in your
third marrige, it sounds like you still have some issues to resolve before you're going to
be happy with someone else.
